Think there was a lot of confusion last time, think the schedule historically has been:

12:00     3885                      WW2 pack radio AM Net              WW2 radios like BC-611, DAV, MAB and larger sets like TCS and things all the way up to a GRC-19

13:00     18.157.5               Pack set USB Net                              Back Pack radios of all type, some military but many not.

14:00     51.0                        Cold War FM Net                             Cold war radios like the PRC-6, PRC-25/77 PRT/PRR many non US military sets, I ran a Russian R-107

I don’t run anything during the 18.157 net myself and think  a lot of that net is dominated by Yeasu 817 and home built stuff so for me I don’t care if we move the 51.0 net to 13:00 But that’s just me.

I would like to drag out my Navy MAK and be net control for the 3885 WW2 Net and also remember that we try to do group pictures after the nets around spaces 7740 to 7750 being that we will have a large contingent of Military radio people located there.

Will post this to a couple places to try to get some form of consensus of what the plan is for this year.

Subject: [MMRCG] The 51.0 MHz net at Hamvention

I'd like to volunteer to be net control for the Cold War Military Radio Net at the upcoming Dayton/Xenia Hamvention 2022.

I enjoyed being the last-minute NCS when were last at the show (2019) and I'm looking forward to talking to everyone on 51.0 MHz again.

I propose to call the net at 1300 local time on Saturday.  I'll rotate among the numerical call areas of the US and also look for "DX" stations.

How's that sound?

Thanks...
