Does anyone know about military morale radios post-WW1 and pre-WW2?

Here is a picture of a Kellogg set from 1926. Big stencil numbers across the front... Thinking it is an inventory number. I think it could have been to feed broadcasts to VA patient wards like sets supplied under the Sun-Roxy Radio Fund, circa 1924. I do know that the American Legion took over the program. Or, could it have been at an officers club?
