I have two working 25/77 sets. The batteries are D cells inserted into a plastic case that was made in Germany. They are the same size with the same connector as the original battery. I bought a couple a few years ago from Germany. I do not know if they are still available or not, but you can search. You are also welcome to borrow on of mine. 73 – Mike

It’s a long shot but anyone got a good BA-4386 that they would be willing to part with? Got a show coming up in a couple weeks and always like to have the PRC-77 set up and just discovered that my long life Magnesium pack is dead.

I may have to resort to building something.
