German radio examined by Irish Army private. John O'Reilly parachuted into Ireland in December 1943 in a not well

thought out attempt to eventually sway the Irish government away from neutrality. He and fellow agents were

shortly captured. John O'Reilly's father turned in him in and collected a cash reward. After the war, John O'Reilly used

this reward money plus money supplied by the Germans for his spy mission to fund the starting of his new business,

a pub.
