The last line in Nick's signature block reminds me of a story Gen Colin Powell wrote about in his autobiography, My American Journey.  He tells that his first assignment as a young Army First Lieutenant in Vietnam was at a helicopter base in the highlands.  He said he befriended a more senior ARVN officer there and asked the officer what the base's mission was.  The officer told him that the base was where the helicopters landed.  Sigh.
