Thanks to Hue Miller, I have scanned and posted a 1945 document from the Puget Sound Naval Yard laying out a standardized installation for Radio Communications in Air Traffic Control Towers at Naval Air Stations.
https://www.navy-radio.com/commsta/nas-atc.htm

There are photos, schematics, etc. of all the components as well as an overall system cabling diagram and overall system schematic.
Of some interest may be -
Receivers are listed for 3105kc, 3235kc, 3385kc, 4495kc, 6390kc (crash freq), 140.58mc plus spares
Transmitters are listed for 3295kc, 6970kc, 278kc, 6390kc (crash freq), 142.74mc plus spares
The fixed frequency HF receivers look like Fisher Research Labs units. I also see a couple of RAS receivers, and an RCO. There's also mention of an SCR-522.

Cheers,
Nick England K4NYW

p.s. The cabling and schematic scans aren't great but you can make out most things if you zoom in. That's what you get with 1944 blueprints and a scanner at FedEx with no opportunity to adjust contrast/brightness.....
