I used pistons to pull a vacuum, not a pump. I was thinking last night,
I've imploded a few cylinder walls by pulling too hard, or too fast.

I haven't studied the issue, I moved on to other things, but it does
fall in line with how much of a vacuum can be pulled on a, say, 2,000
PSI rated piston, drawing against something, using a lever on the
piston, getting, in theory, several tons of draw.

At what point does "air", or lack there-of, fail, or get squirrely?

At what point does the chamber itself attempt to become a singularity?

~15 psi from the outside is one thing, and the best we'll ever get.

What about -10,000 from the inside?

Might be something to play with again in the future, as there some ideas
I have.

Kurt
