FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
Dummy Load TS-234-A/UP absorbs power pulses from modulators of radars.
It is used to
terminate the modulator output during radar performance tests. The
dummy load presents a 16
ohm resistance to pulse voltage. The unit contains a voltage divider
circuit connected to a
meter jack on the front panel. This meter circuit affords a convenient
means of measuring
and viewing the output pulse of the modulator with an oscilloscope.
No field changes in effect at time of preparation ( 13 March 1962).
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
FREQUENCY RANGE: 0 to 2 me.
POWER DISSIPATION RATING: 1,27 5 W.
VOLTAGE RATING: 5,000 v.
VOLTAGE DIVISION RATIO: 100:1.
INPUT IMPEDANCE: 16 ohms, resistive.
