The art of tuning and setting up a tube radio for operation can be a mystery for anyone who has not grown up with it. So much stuff today is just set the frequency and mode and go from there. Just started a video on the set up and operation of the PRC-74, its not just dial in a frequency and talk. My favorite radio is still the AN/GRC-106 and failing to follow procedures can result in not only damage to the radio but the operator too.

My friend got his KWM 2 working with help from Ray Fantini and his video and following the instructions my friend has the set working now. He is checking the voltage and BIAS  settings but otherwise I think he's in good shape now.
