[Milsurplus] Questions about the T-784 / GRC-109

The shutters or sliders are to cover the tuning lamps. The brass tube
is most likely a dessicator, some rigs have it, some don't. The four
holes at the extreme corners are for covers or lids that protect the
panel and controls. Older transmitters use a cover with thumb screws,
later ones use spring snaps to hold the cover on. I have seen at least
these two versions over the years. Mine have the spring snaps, be
careful, the springs are strong and ready to sting your fingers.
