[Milsurplus] Flying Radio Operators

Never heard of it, personally.  I suspect there may not have been, since knowledge of the code was only a part of getting an amateur license. At that time, the written tests were more rigorous, requiring some demonstration of circuit knowledge, even schematic reading, & relevant regulations.
