I had an excellent example this afternoon of hearing 3 at once, when 
listening to 93.5 FM, on a stock radio in an early 2000's Chrysler sedan.

The initial station, then another, then yet a third, all nearly equal in 
strength after they faded in.  I had hoped to get a recording as an 
example, but I was in heavy traffic, with a cop behind me.

I'll try some other time.
