"Wings" did that with an old hallicrafters, and an Astatic D-104 mic of 
CB radio trash-talker fame plugged into the phones jack, to talk to 
aircraft on VHF-AM.

The worst by far are the various "Area 51" documentaries with a Kenwood 
general coverage receiver tuned to FM broadcast, while receiving, and 
decoding secure military comms.

How about the RTTY noises while a satellite is shown flying above the 
earth, to indicate connecting to the internet?
