[Milsurplus] Odd things

In reference to the freq meters, I have an LM11 in a BC221 style metal
case. It was some kind of unit made to mount and power up the LM10 or 11,
made by a contractor long ago. I think mine is serial number 2.
Another oddity I had never seen advertised or in person before until a ham
buddy brought one to show and tell at our monthly lunch in Spartanburg, SC.
It was a cabinet that contained an AC PS, volume, RF gain, mode switch and
a speaker, with an opening that any ARC 5 receiver could slide into and
make up with the standard ARC RX jack and operate like a desktop receiver.
Made in California by some garage shop builder perhaps. You would think
that thing would have sold like hotcakes, and still be found everywhere
today.
