I don't think 'Mac's Surplus' was connected to the McPherson family. In fact, i didn't know about this store.
Julyah is into, believe it or not, military radio. The BC-611 is her big score. Oh - she also got an Australian WS108 at a storage unit sale ! She bought a BC-375 from Brad W.  KD7DGT also. Good taste indeed, altho like most young - new hams today, she probly couldn't draw the schematic for a flashlight.
( I think i'm safe that she won't see this. ) But on the other hand, she knows magnitudes more programming than i do, and.... software rules the world now.
