Speaking of which, not quite 160, a little lower...

I was reading an old publication that mentioned B&W made AM broadcast 
coils for mobile antennas.

Testing indicated it provided 24 dB of gain over a typical AM radio whip 
on a vehicle, when used with a 102" whip.

I've been searching the web, but not found any references.

Anyone recall such a coil, or have any B&W coil literature, probably 
from the 60's, that may mention the model number?
