I just thought that the Navy preferred a grey color scheme. Black wrinkle finish or green are "Army colors."
One of the guys I worked with in the Air Force always used to say, "Works fine, lasts a long time, paint it grey so it won't rust" when he repaired something. I think that he was ex-Navy! <grin>Jim
