Many years ago, I had a pair of those with power supply which I got from 
MARS.

I was extremely impressed by both receivers, but especially by the RBB.

I used it for several years, mainly for CW net traffic handling.

My transmitter that time was either a brand-new T-350-XM or a somewhat 
modified BC-610 being driven by my upgraded DX-35/VF-1 combo.

I operated full break-in using separate receiving and transmitting antennas.

Among other things, the limiter in the RBB was superb: even at 1 kW input 
to the transmitter, in net operations, my own signal in the receiver was 
never any louder than the signal of the station I was listening to.

A fellow ham visited my shack one day while I was operating and was 
amazed.

I wish I had the bench space here to set up a pair of those again.
