[Milsurplus] 1945 countermeasures - NRL projects

I recall in the mid 1970s trying out at the surplus store a Navy SPR-2 receiver. The IF is apparently at or near 30 MHz and the receiver was absolutely clobbered by CB signals.
It didn't help that the store was a straight shot across the water from Bainbridge Island, perfect for CB from there.
A few years later i had a German aircraft radar set, main unit. It had apparently not been crunched up with the planes at war end because it was in the shop; had a pencilled
note on it, in German, "doubled main pulse".  I traded it to a gentleman in Arizona who was going to replicate the electronics on a Ju-88 - a really truly hopeless task for anyone 
on this side of the Atlantic.
