The new schedule for Field Operations on Friday's field event is up on the web site:

http://www.mrca.ar88.net/Fall_Meet/FieldEx_Sites.html

This year the 5357 USB Net will be on Friday from 1400 to 1500 local. The Net is intended to give backpack and vehicular stations the opportunity to work with a larger group of fixed and portable stations. We always have a good turnout using radios like PRC-47, 70 and 74 along with other military radios. NCS will be my M151 running a GRC-106 at Beltzville State Park. If you cannot attend this year, please think of trying to check in from your home QTH, in the past everyone has always been amazed by how well this has worked. NCS will be running higher power along with an inverted V so I should not have issues working the people back home.
>From 1515 to 1600 we will all QSY to 3885 AM/USB and give that a try, along with a "Slow Speed" CW Net at 1615 to 1645 on 3570, and 51.0 (FM) Old Squelch will be used as a coordination channel and also be monitored by NCS during the entire event.
I will also be active on Saturday morning from the mutt at 0900 on 7087 RTTY (850 shift, 60 WPM) and intend to be on 7296 USB at 1000 local.
And if that was not enough there will be lots of opportunities for spontaneous operations on 51.0, 144.250 or any other frequencies that you may want to activate around the Howell building. I will be bringing along a couple spare radios for use by anyone who wants to take part.
One question, do we want NCS for the 3885 Net to be the GRC-106 and inverted V antenna or maybe limit NCS to just low power verticals only? I figure the sixty-meter net just before that has both local participants and remote stations that check in so going to use the big radio and antenna, but did not know if that was overkill for the eighty-meter net or not? I will be using the GRC-106 and inverted V Saturday morning being that's the stuff I use when running teletype in the field.
Would also be interested in if anyone wants to do a "Official" 51.0 FM or 144.25 AM Net Friday night at the Howell building and what would be a good time for that? In the past we have played around with 144.250 AM and that's always been fun seeing people drag out and fire up there old URC-4 radios.
This is only addressing the field operations, remember that there will be ample opportunity to show and display your equipment, have a face to face with the other members of our fraternity and buy and sell your excess during the event. As always, the Annual MRCA Gilbert event will be the highlight of my year and have to say as always "Be there or be Square".
