Think we discussed it before, a radio that was removed from the crash site of the Lady Be Good that was discovered sixteen years after its disappearance was installed in one of the recovery aircraft, a C-47 that was later lost in the Mediterranean. And according to the National Museum of the United States Air Force a U.S. Army "Otter" airplane in which a "Lady Be Good" seat armrest was installed crashed in the Gulf of Sidra with 10 men aboard. No trace was found of any of them; one of the few pieces washed ashore was the armrest of the "Lady Be Good.
Lot to be said for the "Ju-Ju" thing. Question: What type of radio was removed from the Lady Be Good? I always thought it was an AN/ARC-1 VHF Transceiver but others disagree.
