Hi all,

Question about the evolution of these aircraft radios. I know the BC-375 was a 1930’s design. The ART-13 was a major improvement but still, like the BC-375, required the use of a separate receiver. And then you have the ARC-2 which is a transceiver in a (relatively) small package. Was the ARC-2 introduced after the ART-13/ARC-8? One might think that given the combining of functions. Anyone know the approximate years of service for these radio systems? And what aircraft they were used in?

thanks
