Wonderful, wonderful photos, and thanks so much, Nick !!

I would have been happy to have paid admission just to walk around and peruse all the gear. Altho interestingly to me, at this point in my life, i would not have bought one thing.
I looked at many familiar radios and asked myself, "Do i want one of those?", and my answer was, "NO, i do not want one of those." I guess i have enough on my plate now, plus
i have not much patience any more for "First, remove 50 screws securing the cabinet."  Also seeing stacks of for example, Heathkits, also helps me quickly understand what i
really want to keep and  not keep. Plus helping clear 3 estates this year, very disordered and often pointless savings, and the Yaquina Communications bankruptcy sale, was
a real caution on how not to live ( and die ).

Now, my reservations aside, i do have some questions and comments on the gear seen. Feel free, anyone, to comment too.


  1.  what is the WW1 era receiver in the wood cabinet - seen near top of photos group ?



  1.  What is a 'Budelman 128B' receiver? I am familiar with a ( i think ) Mackay 128B, but that i think is a way different animal ? This is the one with "WCCO" painted near bottom of it.



  1.  Repaneled BC-348, mislabeled "BC-342" and priced $120: "Good luck with that !"  Reality is, start with $20 and work down.



  1.  "Transmitter, Radio" ? Minus TU near bottom ? Painted marking " 07-1 " on it. What is it ?



  1.  Collins thing in large cabinet with 3 tuning dials ?



  1.  Japanese 94-3A field radio: what was he asking on it? Brian tells me it's one really "hot" radio, if you know what i mean. I am out of the procreative age group, so that's not a



danger, but still, i would like to live out my full lifespan....and never glow in the dark....
