Do you know what is an "ocean boarding vessel" ?
I was looking thru 'ONI 201 British Naval Auxiliaries' and i saw this designation for the 'Corinthian' and 'Vienna',
but they didn't look fierce enough to be boarding any other. I thought like, "Heave to, and prepare to be boarded!"
I was looking at the ONI 201 series before i get ready to Ebay it. Looking at all those ship photos makes me want to
own them all, or at least own some ship models. Considering how many ships there were, it seems a whole lot of
radios must have gone to scrap along with the vessels.
Anyway, "boarding vessel" ? This explained it: "...some ships considered unseaworthy have been relegated to
serving as accommodation vessels." Like, they were parked in harbor and used as barracks.
