[Milsurplus] PRC-68 Connector ?

I found this connector in some estate items. There was a scrap of paper associated with this reading "PRC-68".
But i cannot imagine what a PRC-68 handheld radio is doing with a connector like this. I am also wondering if
this 3 socket connector will fit the Hallicrafters TR-9 i have, but that set is not locally available to me right now
to check.
