You never near anything about the "RRA" Radio Relay Aircraft. which
Expanded the range of the Squad Radios. We loaded the relay equipment
and Army comm personnel in the back of the aircraft (C-7) and left the
rear cargo door and ramp open so that the whip antennas could extend
from the rear of the aircraft. Came in handy when the war expanded to
nearby countries. Nothing like flying around in circles for hours. Been
there done that but no T shirt.
