Is this correct, do you know ? On 15 meters band, 21.0 MHz, the
R-808 has markings every 20 kHz
SRR-13 has markings every 10 kHz ( due to having 16 - 32 MHz band divided in two. )

Now also, i note this: the R-808 for alignment of the RF and IF, requires extender cables to be made.
I sincerely doubt if any reader here has ever done this, let alone even knowing this stipulation.
I was just doing a thought experiment and i wondered if, to lighten the 69 lbs., removing the RTTY chassis
and the power filter choke would lighten it somewhat. With mains AC supply you do not need the tube
filaments regulated, only some of the B+ current. I don't know how much weight this would lose. It's just
a thought experiment. I somehow ended up with more R-808s than i need, which means more than zero.
