[Milsurplus] Can you identify this USMC spares meter ?

NIB meter 6625-604-7845 ammeter, has no scale numbers or range info; has 10 divisions to FS; midpoint and endpoint marked with line.

I think i used one of these as a meter replacement on a Torn.E.b. receiver many years ago, using this meter because it was very close to
the right size and bore no distinguishing English labels. This was a Torn. receiver with the plate over the meter opening. I probably might
not do that "upgrade" today.
So what was this meter for ???
