[Milsurplus] Leather or ? handle for vintage military ?

I recently bought a replacement handle for my work briefcase on Amazon.  It was good match in appearance and fit.
You might have a look at their selection of leather suitcase handles and see if anything looks appropriate for the BC-474:

Also - several times I've replaced rotted leather equipment handles with modern OD canvas webbing of the right width and it looked good.  Not "right" - but better than a broken or missing leather strap.
