[Milsurplus] Leather or ? handle for vintage military ?

So my "suitcase BC-474" has a luggage handle on top that is broken. Someone suggested i shop Goodwill type stores for some
vintage luggage and then remove its carry handle. I recall some years ago "someone" was selling leather carry handles as used
on the BC-659 FM radio. Oh, i just remembered, some BC-1306 also had the carry handle fitted on top, but i don't really know if
this was "aftermarket" or issue.
What do  you suggest, or suggest source selling same?
And NO, i never actually use such organic materials carry handles to actually move the thing. For me, it's just for looks, completeness.
