Thanks, Nick ! I had no idea this category existed. These are really neat !
As a former Seattle resident, i was especially interested in the Bainbridge Island cards. I recall the Seattle Times newspaper some decades back stating that the Bainbridge listening station during WW2 had the tallest mast on the West Coast. ( Until i see some further real evidence, i am equivocal about this claim. )
I wish now that i had not in some foolish cultural purge thrown out my QSL collection. I had a QSL from NPM Hawaii, 19.8 kHz. Not much of a DX catch but the card had a written note thanking me for my reception report. My receiver was a single 6J5 triode, inspired by a QST article, "An NAA receiver", and had a more or less 1500 turn tuning coil. I say "more or less" because i lost count several times. I recall i could also hear mixing with the 20 WPM perfect CW, notes from a percussionist's brushes, when my father was listening to something like Modern Jazz Quartet on his HiFi in another part of the house.
