Well, that's a new fact for me to chew on: why one crystal will chirp and another, same style package, does not. 
As for the OO reports, key clicks can be bad news on the band, and should be addressed, but chirp, "BFD", 
( Ballard Fire Department ), find a better use of your time spent on OO.

Not that i really recommend reading this article on Switzerland's fiasco of buying Staghound armored cars from U.K. - the old cautions about
buying used vehicles came to mind - but i thought this photo was an interesting data point.
