This is a 100/500w AM/CW/FSK transmitter.

Email me for photos, but it looks in good condition from the ones Tom sent
me.

4-400 final modulated by 4-125s in 500w configuration. Includes the p/s for
100w operation but the “high-level” 3-phase HV supply is not in Tom’s list.
So the SK probably ran it off a separate HV supply in 500w mode. But the
“high-level” modulator section with hefty mod xfmr is included.

Email Tom for more info.
The manual is at
https://www.navy-radio.com/manuals/srt14-manual.htm

And there was an article in April 1997 Electric Radio.

Feel free to forward to interested parties.

Subject: Navy radios need a new home
To: <nick at navy-radio.com>

My name is Tom Hess and I am active in amateur radio. I am helping a local
family to dispose of ham radio equipment after a family member died. I am
trying to find a new home for a Navy radio set which I think is designated
SRT-15. It consists of six rack mounted units and the corresponding rack to
mount all the pieces. Attached are photos of all the parts. All of this
radio set is located near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I believe that all parts are
operational.

Please let me know if your organization is interested in this radio set or
if you know of other organizations that would be interested.

Part numbers for individual pieces:

MD-229, MD-230, O-275, PP-1094, PP-1095, AM-1008

Thank you,
Tom Hess, KD0HF
