The Henry Rogers article on the RUGF is very interesting and worthwhile reading, thanks for that lead. Altho i suspect that just maybe another editor might
have thinned out some of the text. What i mostly gained was the paragraphs on redoing the tub caps and lubing the tuning gearbox. I think it's unfortunate
that not mentioned is Dave Stinson's regenerative feedback kink to increase selectivity.
This reminds me i have one, maybe two more or less complete RUGF sets that i have moved around for multiple decades now, to dispose of. I need to get
back on that project, i mean putting together pieces for complete sets. I do have some uncommon pieces - not for sale separately - like the receiver alignment
tool, plastic dust covers for receiver and transmitter, and the small metal tags for labelling cables.
I recall there is a fellow who shows up at Puyallup hamfair who in years past had both the "large" and "small"  RUGF AC power supplies. I did not attend this
year. Next year if i see him i'll ask about those things, if he still has them. This is a pretty large hamfair, but i suppose of the total attendance there are "maybe"
two people who know what an RUGF AC supply is and have any interest.
