[Milsurplus] "The Coastwatchers" question

A few years ago I had a chat with a wireless operator from SOE Force 
136. Their range was southeast Asia. They had the B2 but didn't like it. 
It was not hermetically sealed and the temperature and humidity caused 
frequent failures. A B3 was in development but war ended so project dropped.
