[Milsurplus] 1943 TCS system (Collins 18Q-3) blueprint on line

Probably the very first milsurplus radio i ever had was a TRC-2, bought at Pacific Surplus on First Avenue ( then 'skid row' )
in Seattle around 1964. I think the price was maybe $10, tops maybe $15, altho i don't know that i would have had that much
cash in those days. But the point is, i very much think it was used on the 2 MHz marine band. I somehow figured out how
even in those ignorant days, to operate the receiver and i used it to listen to KOW2, the Seattle Marine Operator station.
I think now, with regret, that i helped thin out the supply of TRC-2s. FYI, if you don't know this set, it's a BC-1306 with a
lower frequency range, 1.9 - 3.4 MHz, for getting out better in jungle, specifically southeast Asia, like Burma.
Right now on Ebay there's a much hacked, terribly hacked in fact, TRC-2 which looks like it was put to the same use, 2 MHz
AM. Insanely priced, also, and i wonder about its fate when it of course, does not sell.
I have an unhacked TRC-2 still, a different one than long ago. At one time i was thinking, put the whole TRC-2 setup together,
that includes the BC-1306 and the TRC-2 transmitter-receivers, but that's too much of a project for me. I would like to find
a good home for the TRC-2; that would be someone who has some interest in 160 meters. I also may have an extra BC-1306
too; but those seem to bring good money, maybe from the ( limited ) mil vehicle enthusiasts.
