I had never before read of any V-weapon having a transmitter onboard. This must have been some kind of tracking system, so they'd have an idea of maybe
needed adjustments. I read elsewhere that a double agent working in UK radioed back false reports on V-weapon landings, reports that were designed to
get the German weapons to overshoot their actual target. This is in a book i have; memory blackout at this instant; agent was a French woman who was
sent into England with an unremarkable little table radio modified to transmit. You have to wonder how someone technically not competent could manage
to radio back to Germany, but it wasn't in fact a great long distance.
