[Milsurplus] Unk Field Radio at For Ord, 1941

"During a ca. 1941 training exercise at Fort Ord, a captain communicates on a field radio". 
>From "Images of Fort Ord", H E Raugh Jr., 2004. This device must be a one-off built at the base. 
Note the "flat" handset and the small loop antenna. I am guessing maybe it operated in the low VHF range, like the SCR-194/ 195.
