[Milsurplus] Refurbed (?) U.S. Navy RAS Receiver

Grey paint doesn't look right, too dark ? Something strikes me as wrong with the exact color.
Switch on PS, left side, is that original ? Certainly the switch escutcheon is not ?
The paper labels are not right for U.S. Gov't issue. The paper nameplate i saw was under plastic with a plastic frame around it. 
Perhaps the original paint and nameplates were 'beat', and someone wanted it to look "nice".
