[Milsurplus] Antenna wire?

Figured I would ask it here too, but does anyone know what wire was used by
the US military for their dipoles? I've been looking at DX Commander's DX50
wire, which was apparently made for the UK military and has a kevlar core.
Overall, it made me wonder if we had something analgous and if so if it was
available commercially.
