First response was from a local ham who arrives tomorrow so UPS etc. are not involved.
As I've heard, first up, best dressed.

Cleaning out the basement. I have 3-5 surplus radar tubes that need a home. You pay UPS shipping.

I suppose that would be the model with frequency range, as i recall, of 0.7 - 25 MHz.
I have the receiver, but with a larger cabinet with spaces at top for batteries. There are no
attachments for DF equipment, so i suppose the one in the television series is similar, but
a DF model, not exactly Fu.H.E.u The tubes are all RV2P800, a 2 volt filament tube much
like the 1T4 specs.
Most movies and such series are very disappointing to me and i have to say, i just avoid the
disappointment. Usually i am thinking, these producers are still wet behind the ears, and
they're trying to tell us how it realistically was? And the clothing, most often it looks like
it just came off the rack; like no one was wearing rumpled, much used clothing. Oh well,
it doesn't take any effort to just ignore the output.
