Congress is moving to require AM radios in all vehicles ( https://www.axios.com/2023/05/17/am-radio-congress-cars ) which directly lead to Ford reversing course and keeping AM radio's in their vehicles ( https://www.theverge.com/2023/5/23/23734497/ford-am-radio-reverse-decision-ev-interference ).
