Has anyone here restored a WWII German Torn Eb receiver?
This is one seems in better shape than expected.
It's a 1942 make. I hear early war is better?

When removing it from the case, are there any
"Oh by the ways" or "gotchas" like you see
in, say, the BC-474 which can be seriously
damaged if one doesn't "do it right?"

When removing the face of the radio for
repainting, are there issues such as above?

Where would one get a spare set
of the four tubes?

Are original power connectors available?

This one has a dark gray face, with an
almost "olive drab" case colour. Does
anyone have matching paint formula?
Sherwin Williams did a fantastic job
on paints for the BC-9.

Thanks all!
