[Milsurplus] Japanese Spy at Singapore WWII

I only had thought of advanced radio spy games as going on in the European war, that is, against Nazi
Germany, but reading an article about the fall of Singapore, I learned of a Brit who for whatever crazy
alienation feelings, gave his loyalty to Japan and spied for the Japanese besieging Singapore. This story
is also surprising, to me, for the then-times advanced technology equipment the spy used. I am well
familiar with WWII Japanese electronics and there are no state-of-art equipments in the standard
Japanese military issue, at least at this date. Maybe later, 1943 on, there were a couple aircraft radios
that were fully up to date.
Spy got an informal sentencing and execution and no memorial plot.

'RANCBA' organization for past and present Australian Royal Navy exists, but it seems you have to register
to learn more. If anyone follows this out or knows more, or about other interesting history articles currently
available not through the 'Wayback Machine', I would be pleased to hear from you about it. I do not have
time presently to explore all leads myself.
