Copper top, once good, now chinkcrap.
I have found that amazon acdelco and their own brand seem to work and last reasonably well.

I just put a set of those in my four-cell Mag Lite and worried about that. I intend to get new batteries for it and throw away Duracells. I have experienced the leakage in the past too. Sting me once and shame on you. Sting me again and shame on me.
