I'd say Golden Screwdriver mod, as the part is typical of low-end 
consumer level electrical "stuff", with junky self-tapping screws.

I bought some at Ace Hardware a couple weekends ago to change the 16/3 
cord on my wood stove over to 12/3 SJOOW 600V cable, to add some 
ruggedness to the cord, and prevent damage from logs, shoes, et cetera. 
  That cable fits perfectly into these stamped-out flex conduit 
fittings.  A bit of overkill for a fractional-horse motor, but the 50 
year old lamp cord is making me nervous.
