My brother was using, i think, liquid Zud cleaner and q-tips. The liquid form of Zud is not sold at many stores.
You may have to go to a big box to find it. He says it really cleans up the connector pins. In helping sell down
my accumulation he developed some restoration skills. Like one thing i liked, was using a heat gun around the
seal on a TBX to get a recalcitrant one out of its case.
