[Milsurplus] Free HQ-180A, Local Pick Up in Central New jersey

The general coverage HQ-180A is IMO the best thing Hammarlund ever made...a super receiver.  I like using mine much more than my Motorola R-390A.  Its 1959 new price of $429 equates to $4,500 today.  In good working condition they still bring good money.  I'd have loved to have one in 1968, although it did not cover the important (to me) 405 to 535 kHz MF Maritime Morse band.

Good luck.  I hope someone gets yours and restores and enjoys it even though there's not much on HF worth hearing nowadays.

radio. It was not working when it was given to me. It also has a custom
milled 19" rack panel. I have to down size in perpetration of selling our
house in the spring. This will need to be picked up in Central New
