[Milsurplus] Western Electric 32A VHF aircraft receiver

I recently found a Western Electric 32A VHF aircraft receiver, it has 955 tubes in the front end, looks like a rare item, no information turns up with an internet search, luckily the manual was inside the chassis, regards Brad
