Folks,

Just wanted to inform the group (first dibs...) that I'll be bringing to Shelby an R-1155 receiver, with another parts receiver, and a T-1154 transmitter - complete, without the power supply.
These radios were used by the RAF as the liaison radio setup in bombers and other larger aircraft, in similar role to the US BC-348, BC-375 and ART-13.
I simply don't have time to work on them and put them on the air, as I have many other projects taking priority.
The R-1155 is in fairly good condition mechanically - it's a later model with the dual speed tuning knob. The usual modification was done by the former owners: The DF section was removed, as well as the original Jones connector for the power and control. The parts radio is not as nice, but it has the DF section and the Jones connector, so the first receiver can be completely restored with the parts from the donor. Both the transmitter and the receiver have their original wooden transit cases. Literature about restoring and operating these radios are found on the Internet in abundance.
I'd like $350 for the lot - it's way less what I have in it in purchase and shipping.

Feel free to share this email.
